The Ultimate Journal

for Leaders of Teams

The ULTIMATE compendium to
The Rhythm Effect

THIS IS YOUR INVITATION
to Stop. Think. Reflect. Plan

The act of clarifying our thoughts is one of the most under valued activities in modern professional life.
Especially those in a leadership position.

But if we do manage to find time and stop it is difficult to know where to start in organising and making sense of our thinking. As a leader there are hundreds of things to do and hundreds of decisions.

Praise for the Leadership Journal

To truly learn something, you need to experience it, not just read about it. This leadership journal provides an experience that supports the individual and the team’s overall success. A must have for leaders who are committed to synchronising a team of people for the best results.

Jaquie Scammell, CEO/ Founder ServiceQ

I was impressed immediately when Paul shared the idea of a Leadership Journal based on the insights of his book The Rhythm Effect, and I have been blown away with how he has served it up.  It is full of colour and graphics that make you want to open it up every day. Paul incorporates his deep wisdom into a daily leadership tool. Genius.

Bernie Kelly - Chair of the Australian Transformation & Turnaround Association, Author of Leading Disruption with Grace

Paul has cleverly consolidated a toolkit that spotlights opportunity in every leader and offers a journey of impact. Built with a logical flow to pinpoint the triggers needed to bring balance to thinking and rhythm to actions - it will be habit forming for many. With Paul’s clear and practical line of questioning comes a blueprint for one of the hardest things to do as a leader – evolve.

Sue Anderson, Creator of Co Squared Applied Innovation Management Consultancy

Building a habit of reflective practice is essential for every leader at any level. But knowing where to start can be challenging, even for the most seasoned professional. In Paul’s leadership journal he doesn’t just make it easy to start, he gives you the tools to sharpen your thinking so you keep going, and then illuminates the path for turning theory into action.

Shane Michael Hatton, Author of Let’s Talk Culture

I love this leadership journal so much! It is brimming with frameworks, mental models and enticing visuals to focus you on the elements of great leadership. But, also this provides the space and guidance to reflect and apply the learning. One of the keys to high performance leadership is honing self awareness and this journal gives you the tools and principles to do this with a strong lens of professional growth.

Tracey Ezard, Speaker, Author, Educator and Fellow of the Australian Council of Education Leaders

Paul Farina has already established himself as Australia’s foremost thought leader on the power of creating “Rhythm” to generate consistent results in people, teams and organisations. It is no surprise that, with this publication, Paul provides a practical, easy-to-follow, self-guided journal on how to take consistent action to turn that rhythm into performance. Use it daily.

David Wayne - Business Management Lecturer, Speaker, Mentor, Author of Turning Geeks into Gurus

So… How do you organise your thinking in so much complexity!?!

A blank notebook or bullet journal is great for organising tasks and making meeting notes, but limited for leadership thinking. Gratitude and Wellness Journals are great for mental health but don’t apply to organising our strategies.

But, a Leadership Journal with specific guided questions to house all our relevant data fis helpful. I could not find one to meet this need, so I created it in collaboration with the brilliant designer Jansen Lye.

Based on the principles of The Rhythm Effect my hope is this journal propels you (and your team) forward on your journey.

Paul Farina - Author

In 2013, Paul Farina begun his consulting practice with zero clients and a thousand ideas on how he could help businesses. Over the next decade, Paul has delivered workshops to thousands of professionals, published his first book The Rhythm Effect, and spoken at conferences and on panels across many industries. His ability to deliver frameworks of performance in relatable, energetic, and passionate ways has solidified his position as one of Australia’s most captivating thinkers in the leadership, team performance, and strategic facilitation space.

Along the way, Paul has codified a set of unique principles which have led to exceptional cultural and business growth for many. He describes it as “the obvious hiding in plane sight” to leverage the work ethic of the brilliant people we work with. These principles developed by Paul — who grew up an ordinary kid in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia — that has been the bases of all the successes he has been involved in as a sports professional, corporate leader, business owner, and educator.
